The vision behind the project

Despite its strategic location and culinary strengths, Bocconcino faced a recurring challenge: low visibility and reduced traffic during the off-season. While the restaurant had a solid base of followers, its digital presence lacked structure and appeal—resulting in missed opportunities, especially in slow periods.

The client approached us in August 2024, looking for a 360° partner who could handle both strategy and execution across all communication channels, and support them in reconnecting with their local audience.

With a refined yet familiar identity, Bocconcino and its new communication style mirrors its values: quality, conviviality, and the joy of Italian food culture.

Thanks to the new direction, the restaurant has seen stronger engagement on social media, increased word-of-mouth, and a visible improvement in local walk-in traffic, especially during previously more stagnant months.

Our Strategic Contribution

We began by studying the existing audience—online and offline—to understand their habits, language, and expectations. From there, we developed a new brand voice and content framework. Key goals included:
Reducing sales fatigue and creating emotional connection
Balancing commercial posts with light, storytelling-based content
Supporting themed events to reinforce community presence

The new content plan follows a 1-in-3 to 1-in-4 sales-to-story ratio. This means only one post out of every three or four directly promotes a product or offer. The rest focus on storytelling, behind-the-scenes, food culture, staff highlights, and engaging visual narratives.
